died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, June 23, 2012. Louise Montgomery was born April 6, 1923, in Brookside, Alabama and was a Birmingham area native for most of her life. She was vivacious, affectionate, and a lover of beauty in nature. She was a Christian and a member of the Assembly of God faith. Louise Montgomery was preceded by her mother, Electa Cooley, who lived with her throughout most of her life, and by James Coker Montgomery, Louise Montgomery’s husband. She is survived by two daughters: Janice England, and Martha Ann Daniel; by three grandsons: Tony Daniel, David Daniel, and Chris England, and by great-granddaughter, Cokie Daniel, and great-grandson, Hans Daniel. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 26, beginning at 10 a.m., with funeral service at 12 p.m., at the Gardendale Funeral Home, with burial thereafter at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
